The elites class in essance, Chirag e Badar Numl Islamabad

While I was capturing picture of the under constructed Research and Development Block next to our department, a student of Chirag e Badar said brother could you capture a picture from me also in very respectful manner while judging his civilized behavior, I just started to recall all interactions of the children of chirag e Badar with me, and from last two years I am in Numl University and when ever i see these kids i always observe them very civilized and then i recalled interactions and observation of other children mean children of middle class and elites segments of society and then I reached on conclusion that these children are these financially deprived children real elites in essence in essence.

Chirag-e-Badr’, a programme initiated by Rector NUML General Zia Uddin Najam back in December 2015, in which children from the slum areas who were actually beggars were picked to provide them education alongwith food, pick and drop and a monthly stipend to keep them away from beggary. This programme was started with seven children and today it this number reached to more than 60.

This school is on back side of our department, whenever I see these children, or observed behavior of the children , they are quite respecting, civilized and attitudes and honestly speaking comparatively more civilized then children of middle class, and elites.
I also observe children in colony I am living in very uncivilized attitudes, but the children of Chirag e Badar "lower class" as defined by our society a financial divide. are very civilized and intellectual as compared to middle class and elites.
The word lower is assigned to these children depicts existing of extreme discrimination in our society why they are called lower class the real lower class are the elites, upper middle class and middle class people in essence on the basis of their negative inputs to society either that is corruption, crimes، conspiracies for domination by depriving others, show off of power and wealth, discriminating others, unequal distribution of state wealth, use of authorities for illegal and unethical activities.
So the real upper class, real elites of society are those who lives in slums, who are giving positive input in society, who are civilized, respectful i call these children the jewels of society, and their fathers are labors and labors have much better contribution in development, and we should not lebel them with lower class.

Encountering with child beggars, in Twin Cities and edification.

On the from my home to university i always observe different things, i always came across beggars whom i know very well,  you may wonder so why i know everyone of them,, I know them just because they are the same faces in same their own designated places,  as I had being observing them till 2 years.
As my university is in capital of Pakistan, and I am living in Rawalpindi, Rawalpindi and Islamabad are the twin cities as both are  in close geographic proximity and then grow into each other over time, losing most of their mutual buffer zone. So in both cities there are many beggars, who beg on road signals, in markets, chokes, and in metro stations, use to ask to give money saying we and our family are starving no food to eat, and another reason for begging they use to say that any of our family member is suffering from disease
Another Beggars include those who are physically disabled physically  i.e. their arms are broken, lost their arms, legs and another physical disabilities are seen in the twin cities widely according to some of media reports most of beggars are part of a mafia either they are child beggars, disabled beggars, or those who beg neither had disability who present different reasons of begging when someone ask from them why you beg.
Two sibling Child Beggars in Rawalpindi are sleeping in road side picture taken in month of December
Picture taken in December 2018 @copyright Wondering Progressive.

In recent years i observe a huge increase in child beggars, children of age under twelve, even children of age five years are seen begging  who wonder on roads, metro-stations and markets to beg from the time of morning to evening or even late night in the harsh conditions of weathers, when ever you came across in front them they just ran away towards you asking for money, even they hold your hand and don't leave you until you give something to them, if you give some money to them other child beggars also came and gather surround you  so this the daily routine you will experience when you roam in the twin cities.
In the cold evenings of harsh winters when we feel cold even wearing coats, jackets, gloves, socks of a good quality and these child beggars wonder here and there begging in harsh winters without any proper winter getup, without socks, without coats,  shivering with cold.
The questions arises here why do they beg? who guide them to beg? are they insisted to beg? does their parents send them to beg? or their is a mafia behind the child beggars ?
I had asked from many of children who beg, that why do they beg? who instructs them to beg i received very diverse feedback, some of them said that their father is died and their mother sends them to beg, my friend asked reason of begging and another questions from one of very young girl  her age may b/w 8 to 10 why she begs she said " my elder brother insists me to beg and even he beats me to beg " another question he asked from her that does she goes to school ? her parents are alive ? she said that her parents are alive and they work as servant in a house of a businessman. she said she does not beg when her parents are at home and she had not told her parents that her brother insists her to beg.
Near the khayaban johar metro station in Islamabad the nearest to my university i always seed the same faces of the child beggars who beg saying in loud voices repeatedly " brothers sisters please give us some money in the name of Allah, we have no food to eat, not house or clothing, please gives us some money" and   specially at time of our final exams they are well aware that these are university students and also they know about our finals examinations at time of finals they say " Please give us money Allah will give you success in your papers"
From the metro station to university there is slight steep road and there is taxi stand and small restaurant also in that area there are more than 7 child beggars, one me and my friend coming from university as four girls under age of 11 came near to us and ask for money, we asked them that why they beg they said we had no shoes and cloths and we offered them we will buy a pair of shoes to them and also cloths and they rejected our offer except one of them saying that give us money we will buy for over selves, one of the little girl agreed and said if you want to buy shoes then it will quite better for me  next day we brought shoes for her and she thanked us in very humble and innocent way.
To raise this issue on social media me and my friend turned our mobile camera towards some of group of child beggars sitting on road that was time of last winters and they were shivering with cold ,  so after we tried to capture their pictures in sudden in a quick reaction they hide their placing hands on their faces and turned down in very quick reaction and they instructed in angry tone to their companions to  that " hide your faces" and to us they said don't capture our pictures.
The way of instant reaction after seeing us that we are capturing pictures and the way they instructed their other companions to hide their faces and don't show to camera it make us feel that they are under some of mafias
When ever i see children going to school their parents leave their children in their own cars saying good bye to them, enjoying all of facilities, receive love, care and guidance from their parents and siblings and comparing those children beggars/labors who beg and work as labor in the age when children are deserve to be treated by wholehearted and plucky.
While going to my university always experience this whole scenario in  front gate, one of valuable school poor, or poorest class and middle class  and upper class.and
Who is responsible for this bigger gap?, and financial divide in society?
Why these children are in this condition?
Are only elites and middle class are citizens of this country?
Why these deprivations are increasing day by day?

We are living under a government, a proper system not in anarchy. lets demand from our system,
lets reform our system,
let's do what's in our hand,
let's think about, deliberate about,
lets muse on, and  meditate on,
reflect on, speculate on,
be curious about, be inquisitive about such issues of our society
lets join hands and wonder for progress, let's take an initiative what ever you can do what ever in your hands to address the child beggars issue ..
